Job Description

GS-15: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS-14 grade level. SE is defined as follows: Experience in enterprise engineering, IT management and operations, system integration, hardware and software development, and sustainment sufficient to organize the research and development of technical standards and solutions that promote the insertion of new communication technologies in an effective manner across the Bureau. Experience with IT theories, principles, concepts, standards and practices sufficient to serve as a senior expert and consultant to top agency management officials to advise on integrating communication systems with other programs of equivalent scope and complexity. Experience with enterprise telecommunication systems, sustaining base and tactical arenas, and related functional activities to considering the technical and system architecture, interoperability, interfaces, protocols, networking, expansion potential, end-to-end compatibility, standardization, and emerging information technologies into the Enterprise Infrastructure.
