Job Summary

This position is in the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) Supply Chain Directorate. This position serves as a senior management analyst responsible for analyzing operational data related to supply chain operations to include operating cost; maintaining and developing operational metrics, and ensuring projects/tasks are maintained within the logistics planner.

Job Description

You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for the 0343 series and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Your resume must clearly show that you have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-12 level. Experience can be under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military. Specialized experience is defined as: Research and develop methods to improve the Supply Chain. Assess trend analysis to support forecasting models for products, transportation cost, and other forecasting models within the supply chain. Support the budgetary cycle process in relation to cost containment goals. You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Additional Requirements that must be met by the closing date: Time-in-grade applies to the promotion of current and former federal employees who hold or have held a permanent GS position in either the competitive or excepted service in the previous 52 weeks, including current employees applying under VEOA.
