Job Description

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards - Training Instruction Series 1712 Individual Occupational Requirements and Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions) Basic Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher that included or was supplemented by major study in a subject-matter field appropriate to this position; OR Combination of education and experience -- courses equivalent to in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described above. GS-12 Grade Level:: In addition to the basic education requirements mentioned above, the applicant must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level that includes: (1) Providing instructions on law enforcement; criminal prosecution and/or criminal defense to law enforcement personnel; (2) preparing or developing course outlines and lesson plan materials; and (3) reviewing curriculum for revision due to course content or training requirements changes. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
