Job Description

GS-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing supply support work which requires the application of standardized supply regulations, policies, and procedures in order to perform supply technical duties involving processing and resolution of material and inventory actions procedures which requires selecting the appropriate course of action to resolve the supply problem. Examples of specialized experience may include some of the following:1) Recording, processing, and resolving discrepant, rejected and frustrated material receipts; 2) Determining corrective actions to properly record material/inventory receipts in an automated supply database; 3) Processing receipts and/or reviewing receipt document to determine cause of discrepancy; 4) Utilizing one or more automated supply databases to enter, correct, and retrieve recurring reports and to structure and retrieve specialized reports. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
