Job Description

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 pay band (GS-13 grade level equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: knowledge and experience with Navy Ship Design & Total Ship Systems Engineering, Communications, Electrical Engineering, Acquisition processes & Program Authorities; experience with the development, integration and evaluation of boat and craft designs and related mission subsystems, and their incorporation into construction processes; familiarity with conducting engineering studies, developing technically acceptable options, identifying risks & developing risk mitigations; experience handing complex design integration challenges and other systems engineering issues. This is a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) AT&L position requiring Practitioner certification in the Engineering & Technical Management Career field.
