Job Description
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical advice and making critical decisions on the design, development, and life-cycle analysis of Aviation Support Equipment and Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment; Leading engineering projects by providing guidance to other technical personnel, coordinating the efforts of diverse teams, and establishing project priorities, schedules, and costs; Applying advanced engineering principles to resolve novel or obscure problems, modify standard practices, and develop new engineering methods and criteria for unique situations; and Developing and reviewing complex engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications using computer-aided design software to ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
