Job Description

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying advanced logistics management principles, methods, and practices to U.S. Navy aviation and/or naval weapon systems, with specific emphasis on Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or international sustainment operations. Serving as a life-cycle logistics lead or subject-matter expert for a Navy aircraft, aviation subsystem, or naval weapon system, with authority to recommend or take action on logistics support elements (e.g., maintenance planning, supply support, technical data, support equipment, training, facilities, and PHS&T) throughout the system life cycle. Using Life Cycle Logistics Management concepts and tools to develop or review logistics documentation and analyses (e.g., logistics support analysis, sustainment strategies, provisioning, maintenance plans) for Naval Aviation / Naval Weapons international programs or FMS cases. Working with, or having substantial knowledge of, DOD and Department of the Navy budget processes, Security Assistance funding (e.g., FMS, FMF, other SA funds), and the roles and responsibilities of Navy program offices (e.g., NAVAIR, NAVSEA), Systems Commands, and foreign government defense representatives in the FMS environment. Preparing and delivering clear, logical, and well-supported oral and written presentations to senior stakeholders (U.S. Government, industry, and/or international defense partners), including the ability to explain complex Naval Aviation and Naval Weapons logistics concepts across cultural and organizational boundaries.
