Job Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MATERIALSOURCING DIVISION (C520), SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing logistics authoritative guidance and administrative supervision over a core team of civilian employees, contractors, and military personnel of diverse disciplines such as Engineering Technicians, General Supply Specialists, and Logistics Management Specialists. Experience developing and adapting programs, policies and procedures for technical guidance of project and shop support. Experience resolving work problems presented by subordinates and recommend or implement ways to improve production/quality of work in the division. Experience in identifying developmental and training needs of employees and providing or arranging for needed training. Experience ensuring that the work of the Material Sourcing Division employees complies with legal and regulatory requirements, while fulfilling customer requirements.
