Job Description
GS-12 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing expert naval architecture and engineering guidance in accordance with US Navy specifications and regulations or commercial equivalent. Experience generating naval architecture and engineering products regarding ship stability, structural assessments, repair and modification. Experience demonstrating knowledge of US Navy Specifications and regulations or commercial equivalent pertaining to design, maintenance, and safety of naval architecture systems. Experience utilizing a high degree of innovation to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems in assigned ship equipment.
