Job Description

This position has a Selective Placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: This position requires experience in the design, development, integration or testing of complex RF systems, subsystem or components. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NP-02 pay band (GS-5/10 grade level) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing thorough knowledge of fundamental RF concepts, electromagnetic theory, antenna theory, signal processing, receiver design, transmitter design, and RF circuit design; 2) Utilizing knowledge of test and measurement of RF systems using equipment such as vector analyzer, signal analyzers and signal generators; 3) Demonstrated ability to program in languages such as C, C++, or Python 4; 4) Communicating effectively in writing and orally.
