Job Description

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying knowledge of the principles and concepts of multi-disciplinary biological sciences, including biology, botany, soil science, forestry, ecology, and microbiology, to support diverse ecosystem and environmental initiatives; Managing, controlling, preserving, or evaluating natural resources and their vital ecological functions to ensure long-term environmental sustainability and mission support; Implementing the theories, concepts, and practices of conserving, utilizing, and sustaining the natural, physical, and cultural resources of forests, associated lands, and water systems; and Interpreting and translating complex biological science and academic research into actionable, real-world resource management strategies.
