Job Description

There are Basic Requirements for a 0801 General Engineer. You must meet the Basic Requirements for this series. See the "Education" section of this announcement for details. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a knowledge of general engineering practices, quality assurance methods, principles, techniques and practices. Examples of specialized experience include the following: 1) Apply general knowledge of engineering that meet industry/military standards; 2) Assist senior engineers with identification and analysis to resolve engineering problems; 3) Use of engineering software programs. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a knowledge of general engineering practices, quality assurance methods, principles, techniques and practices.
