Job Description
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: -Identifies and analyzes problems; weighs relevance and accuracy of information; seeks/generates and evaluates alternative perspectives/solutions; makes timely/effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions. Critically evaluates to identify the causes of problems and chooses courses of action that balance the interests of the employee, mission, and stakeholders. -Conveys written information in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience. -Recognizing and evaluating occupational health hazards, including those for which the nature and extent of hazard is not completely understood. -Devising a variety of control measures, including ventilation, shielding, material substitution, and change in work procedures. Isolation, education, and personal protective equipment. -Evaluating proposed new work processes and/or materials and to recommend measures to minimize health hazards using industrial hygiene sampling techniques and instrumentation. -Conduct baseline and periodic industrial hygiene survey based on work practices, hazards, PPE, and shop priority. -Knowledge of and proficiency with personal computers, MS Office Suite software products (e.g., Word, Excel, and/or Access).
