Job Description

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: THE ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION. Your resume must show that you have the ability to perform common tasks including: 1. Starting, operating, adjusting, stopping, maintaining, and performing various operational repairs on single or multiple fuel power boilers while providing technical assistance on difficult or unusual problems 2. Testing feed water, boiler water, and condensate using standard tests and determine the treatment and chemicals to be used to control boiler chemistry. 3. Troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on boiler plant and electrical generating equipment and their associated auxiliaries.
