Job Description
GS-9 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing data using probability, statistics, and trend analysis; 2) Presenting documented research that supports strategic planning efforts; 3) Gathering and analyzing a variety of program information and make sound judgments concerning program progress. GS-11 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, coordinating, and executing studies of marked difficulty and responsibility, applying modeling techniques and procedures exercising judgment and creativity in adapting standard techniques to accommodate all aspects of a real problem; 2) Evaluating the costs and benefits of alternative solutions; 3) Demonstrating knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical and evaluation methods and techniques to identify, analyze, resolve, and communicate areas of risk; 4) Preparing and making oral and written presentations to effectively report progress, gain acceptance of proposed solutions to actual or potential problems Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/1500/operations-research-series-1515/ Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
