Job Description
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Determining the need for and proposes contract modifications and substitution of materials; 2) Participating in negotiations as required including reasonableness of time extensions and impact of modification on project schedule; 3) Communicating with contractors, customers, designers, stakeholders, and FEC personnel on project-related matters requiring clarification, coordination, deficiencies or possible changes, and general contract information, construction progress, or project status; 4) Developing a fair and reasonable negotiating position and ability to conduct negotiations in a professional manner to get a fair and reasonable outcome for the Government; and 5) Managing complex construction projects and leading project teams to effectively carry out technical responsibilities.
