Job Description

For the GS-06: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing accounting systems, standard accounting codes, classifications and terminology and the ability to apply various accounting methods and techniques; 2) Enforcing procedures and regulations required to examine invoices, voucher, and related documents; and 3) Applying civilian pay and leave rules, regulations procedures, programs and systems, and civilian personnel rules and regulations that affect pay. NOTE: All experience must be fully demonstrated in your resume to be considered for the position. For the GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing financial management support (e.g., sorting financial documents, maintaining files, and/or identifying data discrepancies) to support accounting, budgetary, or payroll functions.
