Job Description
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Receives aircraft and equipment logbooks; conducts preliminary screening, updating and closeout of records; and determines accuracy and completeness. Screens component record cards to determine possible service life expiration during repair which would adversely affect the aircraft and equipment safety mission capability, operational reliability or delay its return to the custodian. Coordinates with the reporting custodian to obtain missing and/or incomplete data. Reviews applicable bulletin and change configuration data to determine the extent of technical directive compliance. Prepares required work documents based on the evaluation of the logbook records. Provides notification to various internal and external organizations on the receipt and transfer of aircraft and equipment.
