Job Description

GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying skills in functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and funding sources sufficient to related needs and accomplishments to anticipated or actual dollar figures. Employee works independently on routine, continuing assignments. Experience exercising functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and funding sources sufficient to related needs and accomplishments to anticipated or actual dollar figures. Experience implementing of the policies, precedents, regulations, and guidelines of a functional area such as financial oversight, budget formulation, and/or budget execution in order to analyze and evaluate changes in program plans and funding and/or budgetary relationships. GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience and ability to review and analyze budget requests submitted by organizational activities to ensure their consistency, accuracy, and adherence to instructions. Experience utilizing skills in analyzing and interpreting sources of information and applying it to specific areas. Experience providing practical knowledge of Navy ERP practices, procedures and regulations. Experience skill in performing budget formulation work involving review and preparation of budget estimates and financial plans.
