Job Summary

The Chief of Graduate Professional Education coordinates and aligns Air University's curricula across all graduate programs. This role advises schools and programs on curriculum development and supports academic program reviews. Key duties include advising on instructional design, curriculum delivery, instructional methodologies, briefing leaders on findings, drafting policy/guidance, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to sustain high-quality, policy-compliant, accredited curriculum.

Job Description

Knowledge of higher education principles and practices related to curriculum development, instructional design, academic program review. Knowledge of regional accreditation requirements and practices. Knowledge of Joint accreditation requirements and practices. Knowledge of university Student Information Systems (SIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness in academic programs. Skill in communicating complex information, both orally and in writing, including the development and presentation of executive-level reports, briefings, and policy guidance. Ability to manage complex processes such as program reviews, and collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve institutional objectives.
