This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. Screen out element for WG-08: I have the ability to perform common tasks including: 1) Overhauling, installing, repairing, assembling, disassembling and troubleshooting of fixed and rotary wing aircraft; 2) Demonstrating the ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and schematic diagrams; 3) Utilizing hand and power tools used in aircraft rework, such as, pneumatic wrench, speed wrench, micrometers, go no go gauges, scales, test stands, etc; 4) Determining work methods, tools, and equipment on routine assignments. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
