Job Description
In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09/11 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate all of the following: Exercising systems engineering and avionics certification, with emphasis on aeronautical data integrity, Performance Based Navigation (PBN), and CNS/ATM capabilities; Applying RTCA standards (DO-200, DO-201, DO-178), supporting mission planning (JMPS), and working with both commercial and military specifications; Integrating CNS/ATM capabilities, safeguarding essential data, and ensuring compliance with certification authority processes across diverse aviation platforms; AND Applying analytical skills to evaluate documentation, assess system safety, and justify certification decisions, as well as technical ability in software development (C, C++, C#, ADA).
