Job Description

TO QUALIFY AS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST (0501 SERIES): TO QUALIFY FOR NT-0501-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 pay band (GS-9 and GS-10 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying commonly used budget and/or financial principles to research, analyze, or reconcile an organization's financial data. TO QUALIFY FOR NT-0501-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-2 pay band (GS-5 through GS-8 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying basic financial management principles to check the accuracy and consistency of a variety of financial transactions or entries. TO QUALIFY FOR NT-0501-02: Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of progressively responsible general experience, one year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to (1) analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; (2) plan and organize work; and (3) communicate effectively orally and in writing. TO QUALIFY AS AN ACCOUNTANT (0510 SERIES): TO QUALIFY FOR NT-0510-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 pay band (GS-9 and GS-10 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional accountant applying accounting principles to resolve moderately complex financial accounting problems. TO QUALIFY FOR NT-0510-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-2 pay band (GS-5 through GS-8 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional accountant applying basic accounting principles to find, review, or change accounting data in transaction files, ledgers, accounts, summary reports, or financial statements. TO QUALIFY FOR NT-0510-02: Your resume must demonstrate that you meet the basic education requirement for the 0510 series as specified in the Education section of this flyer.
