Job Description
This is a RE-ADVERTISMENT of Announcement Number: DE-12816268-26-MLV. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement. To qualify for a GS-12, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying a comprehensive and authoritative knowledge of assigned systems to permit rapid analysis and resolution of atypical problems. Must have mastered specialty field to the extent of resolving problems, which normally confuse others. Experience being familiar with related engineering disciplines (such as electrical, electronic, mechanical, structural, etc.) to analyze problems from an overall system viewpoint. Experience applying knowledge and the ability to resolve complex problems in assigned equipment and systems in a stressful environment and under constant pressure to produce rapid results and meet operational schedules. Experience using written communication skills to present findings and recommendations in formal engineering reports, and oral communication skills to represent the Command in meetings and dealing with a wide range of contacts at varying levels of authority.
