Job Description
In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized Professional Engineering experience at or equivalent to the DP-04 STRL Pay Band or equivalent GS Grade Level (GS-12/13) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience includes performing the majority of following duties: 1. Providing advanced classroom instruction and/or professional consultation in core aerospace subject areas (such as fixed-wing/rotary-wing aeromechanics, airborne systems, or propulsion) to pilots, engineers, or other technical professionals in a university or professional setting. 2. Creating, developing, or updating advanced technical curricula for aerospace engineering or flight test, to include preparing course materials such as lectures, student exercises, or examinations. 3. Applying engineering principles to the test and evaluation of aircraft or complex systems, which includes direct experience in flight test design, data acquisition, data reduction, or data analysis.
