Job Summary
You will serve as a Training Instructor (Command & Seamanship Training Squadron) within the Commandant Cost Center, in the Sailing Department of NAVAL ACADEMY.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Directing sailing related training including lectures, teaching aids and drills; 2) Providing on-the-water and classroom instruction; 3) Teaching navigation, basic water and boating safety, sailing and seamanship; 4) Utilizing experience with offshore and small keelboat sailing; and 5) At least 2,000 Nautical Miles of offshore sailing experience.
