Job Description

For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting quality assurance functions for ship building programs (e.g., related to Hull, Mechanical, Electrical Systems inspection; inspection of contractor programs; Interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications; NDI testing) to identify problems and provide recommendations for corrective action. For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with quality assurance inspections for shipbuilding programs (e.g. related to ship fitting, hull fabrication, weight handling systems and equipment, fueling at sea and replenishment at sea equipment and systems, outfitting, ventilation) to ensure compliance with procedural standards.
