Job Description
To qualify for a Program Manager position, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including, time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Providing integrated technical guidance and assistance to a wide range of major and non-major acquisition programs and products/platforms which may also include cost, production/manufacturing, supply chain, quality, earned value and industrial base issues. Designing, developing, installing, and executing management information systems to task, monitor, report and proactively resolve issues and evaluate effectiveness and trends for assigned products, platforms, programs. Serving as central focal point for strategic supplier-audits and joint lean/process improvement initiatives for assigned commodities. Formulating plans, policies and strategies to achieve HQ, EA&M and Corporate Assessment objectives and to support customer identified outcomes related to platform or program requirements. Analyzing corporations to include quality and production, supply chain, engineering, earned value, risk management, financial and business systems and their interrelationship to program performance. Facilitating supply chain mapping and integrating supply chain information related to specific commodity/product.
