You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience for GS-09: One year of specialized experience which includes: Collecting or gathering information for reporting purposes; Providing guidance and technical support to management in a variety of mission support areas.; Assisting with reconciling conflicting incomplete information, maintain files and preparing monthly reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Specialized Experience for GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes: advising management on assigned administrative matters; coordinating, monitoring, and performing administrative projects for an organization such as budget, personnel, travel, training, etc.; Lead personnel policy and practices for an organization; Advise leadership on available courses of action for resolving issues; preparing narrative and data reports, represents the organization at meetings and/or conferences. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Attention to Detail Customer Service Decision Making Flexibility Integrity/Honesty Interpersonal Skills Learning Oral Communication Organizational Awareness Reading Comprehension Reasoning Self-Management Stress Tolerance Teamwork Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07/09).
