Job Summary
Telework availability is limited and will only be provided on a rare case-by-case basis during situations where Agency Leadership has determined that telework serves a compelling DoD need. This announcement will be used to fill positions with an entry grade of GS-09 with a target grade of GS-11. The minimum salary for grade GS-09 is $64,406, the maximum salary is $83,733. The minimum salary for grade GS-11 is $77,926, the maximum salary is $101,309.
Job Description
GS-9: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-7) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: Managing the planning and implementation of local exercises designed to test and improve emergency/continuity plans and operational readiness. GS-11: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-9) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: Providing strategic oversight guidance for organizational emergency preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery efforts, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and departmental directives. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
