Job Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), Position Description Number D3026000 and is part of the CO JFHQ AIR CMD, National Guard. This position is located at the State Air National Guard (ANG) Headquarters and serves as the Military Personnel Management Officer (MPMO).
Job Description
Military Grades: O-3 - O-5 1. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. 2. An applicant's RESUME must provide, in detail, how they meet each specialized experience listed below. Resume must be two pages or less. Federal Resume Help 3. It must be documented with "from (mm/yy)" and "to (mm/yy)" dates and description of the specialized experience. 4. If education or a degree is required as part of the "Specialized Experience", you must include transcripts. DO NOT copy each bullet listed below word for word and place into your resume; you must describe your personal experience as it pertains to each bullet. You will be immediately disqualified if you fail to include specialized experience in your resume. Must have Specialized Experience in each of the following: Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 level or the equivalent in personnel and manpower core competencies: Organization Structure, Requirement Determination, Program Allocation and Control, and/or Performance Improvement. Specialized knowledge of all applicable merit principles and practices related to federal civilian, military, and National Guard technician personnel programs. Expertise in managing Army and Air National Guard organizational structures; organizational and manpower standards; manpower resources; military grades; manpower data systems; peacetime and wartime manpower requirements and utilization; and, commercial services to include, strategic sourcing. Experience in writing, designing, formatting, publishing, or presenting military or civilian briefings for senior leadership, conferences, workshops, or special committee reporting. Experience in performing total-force personnel program requirements to accomplish labor union negotiations and agreements; skilled in completing accession planning and processing; classification and position management; civilian and military promotions; analyzing human resources personnel systems reports; skilled in directing position utilization; awards and recognition; evaluations, and performance management.
