Job Summary

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), Research & Rapid Cycle Eval. Group (RREG), Div. of Data Research & Analytic Methods (DDRAM). As a Social Science Research Analyst, referred to here as, Senior Research and Evaluation Lead, GS-0101-14, you will serve as a Senior Technical Analyst for DDRAM's work relating to drugs covered under Medicare Parts B and D.

In order to qualify for the GS-14, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: Designing, directing, or conducting quantitative analyses of changes related to drugs in Medicaid and/or Medicare Parts B and/or D; AND Leading or participating in projects to analyze the impact of healthcare related regulations, statutes, or policies on Medicare or Medicaid programs (i.e., Medicare Part B and/or D drugs); AND Summarizing findings or results from studies and making recommendations on healthcare related issues to stakeholders (e.g., senior leadership, scientific groups, healthcare organizations, Federal agencies). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
