Job Summary
This position serves as a Program Analyst (Evaluator) within the Office of Evaluations, in the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The OIG is an independent and autonomous office with dual reporting responsibility to both the Commission and Congress.
Job Description
To qualify for the CT-13: you must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the CT/GS-12 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through federal service. Such experience includes: Specialized experience is defined as: Experience serving as a Program Evaluator by evaluating and monitoring in accordance with CIGIE Blue Book standards the effectiveness and efficiency of OIG programs in compliance with agency policies and procedures and federal regulations; Experience in utilizing the applicable resources and systems to carry out the planning and execution of program evaluations and reviews; Advises senior leadership on the most productive approach to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and progress of program administration and operation; and Coordinates with senior leadership on policy issues and recommendations related to accounting, finance, resources, administrative, and agency internal controls.
