About the Position: Serve as an Engineering Technician (Civil) responsible for the technical inspection and instrumentation at four Tri-Lakes Project Dams.

GS-07 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience collecting instrumentation data; utilizing spreadsheet software to input and analyze instrumentation data; and identify anomalies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). GS-08 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience collecting instrumentation data; utilizing spreadsheet software to input and analyze instrumentation data for trends; and investigate anomalies to recommend remediation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). GS-09 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience collecting instrumentation data; utilizing spreadsheet software to input and analyze instrumentation data for trends; and conducting inspections of dams and water control structures or construction. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
