About the Position: Position is in Monaca, PA at a Mega Navigation Project. This position provides on-site construction materials verification inspection/testing supplemented by government financed specialized laboratory analysis over the primary quality control inspection and testing services provided by the construction contractor.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing sampling and testing techniques for materials for construction activities throughout the geographical area; observing and monitoring contractor quality control (QC) testing to identify problems, and ensures timely corrective action; reviewing material provisions of plans and specifications; interpreting plans, specifications and recommends whether materials and test methods meet the requirements of the contract documents This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10)Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
