Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR SUPERVISOR to include the ability to lead or supervise. Abilities include (1) planning work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates; (2) explaining work requirements, methods, and procedures; (3) measuring and introducing chemicals into the water system; (4) controlling water treatment processes to ensure proper water quality; and (5) conducting water quality test to verify water quality is kept within established limits. Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (Other Than Blueprint Reading) Ability to Lead or Supervise Dexterity and Safety Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, and Repair, etc. Operation of Job Family Specify Equipment, Machinery, etc. Technical Practices (Theoretical, Precise, Artistic) Use of Measuring Instruments
