About the Position: This position is part of the Reemployed Annuitant Program. The incumbent operates under the administrative supervision of Program Director, Reemployed Annuitant Office. On an as-needed basis, employees occupying these positions provide emergency support to disaster stricken areas throughout the U. S. Employees in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA).

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Coordinates the work with on-site contractors' personnel and representatives of the using service to assure timely and satisfactory accomplishment of all contracts; Prepares deficiency lists for items to be corrected and follows up to assure timely corrections; Makes decisions and/or recommendations concerning changes in the contract requirements and issues rough drafts of requests for proposals; Prepares FEMA damage survey reports; Coordinates requests for contractor services from FEMA program staff; provide comprehensive administrative and technical advice on substantive construction operations and practices. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Oral Communication Problem Solving Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
