Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Minimum Qualifications: This position has selective placement factor which must be met prior to employment and for continued employment. Selective Placement Factor: Must possess and maintain professional Registration as a Registered Architect or Professional Engineering (P.E.) License. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1.) managing and overseeing diverse, multi-disciplinary construction activities, including civil works, military facilities, and Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) remediation projects; 2.) serving as an Administrative Contracting Officer or in an equivalent technical contract administration role; 3.) performing comprehensive supervisory and administrative management duties over a technical or engineering workforce; and 4.) serving as a technical coordinator between using agencies, architect-engineers, prime contractors, and higher headquarters. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. ***In addition to meeting the minimum qualification requirements, you must also meet the basic requirements listed in the "Education" Section listed below:*** You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Accountability Construction/Architect & Engineering (A&E) Decisiveness Planning and Evaluating Strategic Thinking Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
