About the Position: This is a bundled recruitment with multiple hiring offices. We are hiring for a GS-0343-7/9, GS-0343-11 and a GS-0343-12. These are NOT developmental positions with the exception of the GS-07 Full performance GS-09. There is NO promotion potential to the next highest grade if selected at the GS-09, GS-11, or GS-12. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Minimum Qualifications GS-07: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) scheduling payments in a financial management system and 2.) preparing financial reports for review and analysis. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). OR Education: See Education section for substitution of education in lieu of experience. Minimum Qualifications GS-09: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) using a computerized budgeting/program management software and assisting in the forecasting and budget formulation for future years; and 2.) analyzing and tracking budget execution for current year. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: See Education section for substitution of education in lieu of experience. Minimum Qualifications GS-11: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1. ) assisting in the forecasting and budget formulation for future years and 2.) analyzing and tracking budget execution for current year. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: See Education section for substitution of education in lieu of experience. Minimum Qualifications GS-12: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) providing budget and/or program management work that included data analysis; forecasts and projections; and 2.) developing financial plans for current and future years. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, at the GS-12 grade level, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement GS-07: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05). Time in Grade Requirement GS-09: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
