Working with the Project Managers (PM) and Project Delivery Teams (PDTs), the Program Specialist accomplishes project management related duties in the day to day management and processing of each project and/or program using the network analysis system (NAS), Project Management Business Process (PMBP), and Project Management Plans (PMP)

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing program management such as managing project schedules, milestones, scopes, quality control, and budgets relating to military, civil, environmental, construction, or Interagency and International Services (IIS) programs; Providing guidance for a financial database system; and reviewing schedules of commitments, obligations or expenditures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????12).
