About the Position: This is a Program Manager, GS-0340-14 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Programs & Project Management Division located in Little Rock, AR. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which must include 2 out of 3 following: 1) Managing construction project(s) using Foreign Military Sales (FMS) funding for aircraft weapons system facilities within the Continental United States (CONUS); OR 2) Managing cost, scope and schedule for a construction project or program valued in excess of $500 million dollars; OR 3) Identifying complex problems related to the planning, design, or construction phases of a project. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
