About the Position: Manages and negotiates construction contracts for military and infrastructure projects, including buildings, utilities, flood control, and hazardous material cleanup.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: GS-10: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1applying engineering and construction principles, concepts, and techniques associated with assisting in the processing of contract changes on construction contracts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). GS-11: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-10 grade level in the Federal service which includes: applying engineering and construction principles, concepts, and techniques associated with assisting in the processing and advising of contract changes on construction contracts. Provides appropriate and reasonable strategies for the resolution of identified contractual changes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08).
