In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: In addition to meeting one of the basic requirements above, you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: GS-13 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes meeting all of the following: 1) Developing Engineering Division and/or other technical office's input to various studies and projects; 2) Applying cost engineering products, processes, and policies effectively; 3) serving on Project Delivery Teams (PDT) to provide specialized cost input and to cross train teams; and 4) Providing Independent Government Estimates (IGE), cost and schedule Risk analyses. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). "Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted". Selective Placement Factor: The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess and maintain license/registration as a Professional Engineer and/or Professional Geologist, and/or Registered Architect, and/or Certified Cost Consultant, and/or Certified Cost Engineer. This license/registration must be in good standing and issued by any one of the 50 states, or its territories: (Note: You are required to submit your up-to-date license from any state or territory with your applicant package.) You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Leadership Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
