Job Summary

About the Position: Perform a wide range of administrative and analytical duties in the formulation, presentation, and execution of the District's portion of the Regional budget. Provides budgetary and technical leadership for technical element directors in the development of cost estimates associated with long range multi-year civil works multiple reimbursable activities.

To qualify you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Formulating annual budgets for an organization. 2) Preparing budgetary and report documents such as financial management reports, financial plans, budget execution reviews, and prior year reports. 3) Advising senior management on the status of budget execution. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
