Job Description

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) announcement Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal government performing work that includes Assist in planning, directing, monitoring, and executing the Regulatory Permit Program, pursuant of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899, and the Clean Water Act, including the review of applications for residential or commercial development, and/or transportation, and/or mitigation related proposals. Assist in administering and enforcing the management of the program in compliance with governing public laws, regulations, interagency agreements, and policies of higher headquarters.
