Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Managing facility operations and maintenance programs for a large organization; 2) Developing and implementing plans, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient use and upkeep of buildings and grounds; 3) Overseeing facility contracts and coordinating with contractors to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with requirements; 4) Planning and executing facility projects, including renovations and repairs, to support organizational needs; AND 5) Monitoring facility safety, security, and environmental compliance. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Building Construction Contract Performance Management Engineering and Technology Planning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
