This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Office of the Chief Engineer, Construction Management Division, Construction Execution Branch. The selectee is a Wood Crafter (CNC) and utilizes Computer Numerical Control (CNC) technology to develop seals, signage and other engravable images in wood, plastic and metal characterized with intricate and detailed designs.Job Description
You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position. Performs journey-level, commercial Wood Crafting, millwright and Carpentry techniques to set up, adapt, and use computerized machine tools to make and repair high grade wooden items.
