Job Description
ASSESSMENT FACTORS 1. With no supervision, completes work, meets priorities, and achieved results based on the organization’s goals and objectives. 2. Works independently to create accurately written, complex products tailored to a specific audience in an easily understandable manner. 3. Takes a lead role to build collaborative working relationships across DIA by encouraging colleagues to engage team members and others on specific or general issues. 4. Plans, organizes, prioritizes, and schedules own work activities to complete assignments in timely and effective manner. 5. Applies decision making techniques in complex situations to include anticipating and recognizing best practices and choosing options to maximize benefits to the office, directorate, or Agency. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. Makes informed decisions about work priorities to ensure accurate completion of assignments and projects, and makes adjustment as required. 2. Serves as a resource to others regarding relevant regulations, guidelines, laws, and directives. 3. With guidance, seeks opportunities to collaborate or help solve a problem outside of his/her immediate team. This position is considered an Acquisition Workforce (AWF) position under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Accordingly, the position's occupant must be certified with the appropriate DAWIA certification based on mission requirements for the position. If the selectee does not currently possess the required DAWIA certification upon entry into the position, selectee will be given 36 months to achieve certification. This position requires DAWIA Contracting Professional Certification.
