Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment. You may qualify based on your experience as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade , GS-05, in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: At least two years of VHA scanning experience, including proficiency with VistA Imaging Capture/Display and CPRS. Experience conducting or overseeing quality assurance reviews, including validation of audit findings for accuracy and compliance. Demonstrated understanding of VHA scanning requirements, consistent indexing practices, and their impact on the legal health record and patient care. Experience training staff on scanning requirements, workflows, privacy requirements, and compliant document handling. Knowledge of federal records management principles and archival requirements. Experience monitoring productivity and accuracy metrics, and preparing routine workload and performance reports. Proven ability to prepare clear, accurate, and timely written correspondence and official reports. Strong customer service experience in healthcare or HIMS environments. Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining policy and standard operating procedures. Experience managing and optimizing workflows and processes to achieve or exceed performance and quality expectations.
