Job Summary

Responsible for working collaboratively with leadership, healthcare providers, the Credentialing & Privileging (C&P), administrative Specialists and other administrative teams in managing the Focused Professional Practice Evaluations and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations for the C&P programs, providing guidance on processes, requirements and implementation.

If the Position Description is found to be at a lower grade, pay retention may not be authorized. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 05/04/2026. To qualify at the GS-06 grade, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level or higher and meet the specialized experience. Specialized Experience: Experience utilizing computer software such as SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe to create, edit, and maintain accurate documentation. To qualify at the GS-07 grade, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level or higher and meet the specialized experience. Specialized Experience: Experience managing credentialing and privileging processes, including Focused Professional Practice Evaluations and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations activities programs. Experience utilizing computer software such as SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe to create, edit, and maintain accurate documentation. There is no educational substitution for the GS-06 or the GS-07 level.
